Terminal 3, the airport's international terminal, serves passengers traveling to over 30 international destinations.
In 2016, Simpleway implemented an automated voice announcement system across Terminal 3 to support boarding and deboarding processes. The solution delivers multilingual announcements in three languages, providing real-time information to international passengers navigating the terminal. A custom voice library was developed specifically for the airport, with airline-specific announcement scripts tailored to the requirements of major carriers operating from Kochi.
Text-to-speech technology enables automated generation of boarding calls and passenger information announcements, reducing manual workload for airport staff while ensuring consistent, timely communication.
