Transit CX
Unified digital signage and announcements for ground transportation

Update One System. Reach Every Screen and Speaker Instantly.
Transit CX is a passenger information platform that connects displays, announcements, and schedule data in one system. What riders see on screens matches what they hear on speakers because both channels run from the same real-time trip data. From a single commuter line to a multi-modal metropolitan network, one platform handles it all.
Trusted solution around the world - From Canada, USA, to India and New Zealand
Four Modules. One Unified Platform.

Passenger Information Displays
Real-time arrivals, platform assignments, and service alerts across your network. GTFS-driven updates with built-in design tools.

Voice Announcement System
Automated multilingual announcements in 80+ languages from real-time vehicle data. Manual paging and emergency override built in.

Trip Management and GTFS
GTFS schedules and live vehicle positions feed every display and speaker automatically. Adjust service instantly across all channels.

Hardware Built for Transit
Microphone stations for platform staff, integration devices for legacy PA systems, and amplifiers with built-in redundancy.
No More Gaps Between What Riders See and Hear
Synchronized Audio and Visual
When a schedule change happens, Transit CX updates displays and speakers from the same data, at the same time, automatically. A vehicle running late triggers updated arrival predictions on platform screens AND plays a delay announcement through station speakers. One data change. Two channels. Zero manual duplication.

Accessible for Every Rider
Every announcement automatically generates matching text on displays. Riders receive the same information through audio and visual channels simultaneously
80+ languages including regional dialects for diverse ridership
Visual paging - spoken announcements appear as on-screen text automatically
Sign language video integration for stations requiring BSL or ASL support
Hearing loop integration - audio induction loop support for hearing aid users

Passenger Information Display System
Real-time arrivals, platform assignments, service alerts, and wayfinding on every screen across your network. GTFS data flows directly to station displays, bus stop screens, and LED panels — content updates automatically when schedules change.

Displays for Trip & Operational Information
Departure times, destinations, platform assignments, and service status pull from GTFS and GTFS-Realtime feeds. Design professional transit signage with drag-and-drop tools. Turn off-peak display time into advertising revenue — all from one platform.

Data-driven LED Panels
LED panels from any manufacturer connect through API with full support for zone-based content targeting, emergency scenario activation, condensed text for smaller displays, and brightness scheduling for outdoor stops.
Voice Announcement System
Transit CX generates station announcements in 80+ languages powered by Microsoft Azure AI Speech — configured per station, per route, or per zone based on ridership demographics. Routine announcements run automatically from real-time vehicle data. Staff broadcast manually when situations change.

Automated Announcements
Configure announcement templates that trigger when vehicles reach specific points. Route numbers, destinations, and platform assignments populate automatically from your GTFS-Realtime feed. Next-stop announcements play based on vehicle position without staff intervention.

Manual Paging
Operations staff broadcast from microphone stations throughout the facility. Control room operators record messages with AI noise suppression, then target specific zones or broadcast network-wide. When recording isn't practical, type a message for instant text-to-speech delivery.
Visual Operations Dashboard with Map-Based Control
Transit CX delivers instant manual control alongside automation. Click stations or zones on your network map to access pre-configured announcements and emergency protocols. Simpleway configures your dashboard based on your network layout and operational needs.
Real-world Scenarios:
Platform Change During Track Work
Service Disruption on Line 3
Event Crowd Management

Critical Alerts Override Everything
Activate pre-configured emergency scenarios to synchronize announcements with display content across your entire transit network. Audio messages play in designated zones while screens show matching evacuation routes or service disruption information.
Emergency scenarios repeat automatically at set intervals across selected PA zones.
Regular announcements pause during critical alerts to minimize distractions.
Messages reach latecomers and passengers in transit through repetition.
Priority system — safety messages override all scheduled content

Control Interface for Every Role in Your Transit Operation
Operator's User Interface
Our platform provides a versatile set of user interfaces tailored to specific day-to-day operational needs. The Operator's User Interface (OpsUI) functions as the core administrative hub, configured to allow different user groups access to only the functions relevant to their roles.

Frequently Asked Question
Got questions? We’ve got answers.
Yes. Transit CX unifies passenger information displays, voice announcements, and trip data management in a single platform. Wellington Railway Station replaced their separate PA and PIDS vendors with Transit CX, eliminating communication gaps during both planned and unplanned disruptions. You can deploy all modules at once or start with one and expand as contracts allow.
Transit CX serves single commuter lines, multi-line metro networks, bus rapid transit, ferry terminals, and multi-modal hubs that combine several transport types. Current deployments range from SunRail single-line commuter rail in Florida to Jakarta LRT's 3-line automated system and Auckland Transport's combined train and ferry network.
Every voice announcement automatically generates matching text on passenger displays, providing simultaneous audio and visual information delivery. The platform supports 80+ languages, any alphabet (Latin, Cyrillic, Arabic, CJK), hearing loop integration for audio induction loops, and sign language video at stations requiring BSL or ASL support.
Transit CX is hardware-neutral. Display controllers connect to any commercial screen with HDMI input - Samsung, LG, NEC, or your current installed screens. For audio, the ionode4 integration device connects to existing PA amplifiers and speaker infrastructure. You replace the software coordination layer without discarding functional hardware.
Display-only deployments can go live within weeks - the tamper-proof display controller installs on the back of each screen and connects to Transit CX cloud. Full PIDS plus PA deployments depend on integration complexity and network size. Wellington Railway Station completed their synchronized audio-visual replacement with minimal service disruption.
Both. Cloud deployment runs on Azure with multi-region redundancy, automatic updates, and OpEx pricing. On-premise keeps data within your facilities for operators with data sovereignty requirements. Many transit authorities start with cloud for speed and migrate on-premise later if policies require it.
